hoho. the holidays have ended and school's starting tomorrow! let's see what have i acheived in this holiday/new year.

- celebrated my 21st! hola yes im a legal ADULT nowwwwwww (felt so much love from everyone! :D)
- attended a POP for the first time.
- went Bali for a short vacation/getaway with the bf.
- spring cleaned my house for the chinese new year!

now i need
- to lose weoght (as always, but it never succeed. le sigh)
- my right forearm to get well. hopefully its nth serious
- the rashes to go away (yes idky i suddenly developed rashes after spring cleaning)
- to be heathy and pink in the health! (and for my loved ones as well)

It's a new year, again. How time flew past us like nobody's busines. How fast I'm turning 21 in approximtely a day's time. Mixed feelings about it. No longer a minor, which also means more responsibilities. How exactly should I behave or dress or feel or look or think at the age of 21? Afterall, it's just a number eh? Amazing how I've grown from a baby and lived 21 years, meeting awesome people(and some bad ass). Anyhow, I wish that all my wishes will come true! 2012, I shall have faith in you! G'night.

Blogging on the go! Class just ended and am on the train home. Have neglected this little space of mine for sometime. It's either I'm plain lazy or plain busy.

17 days since I last met the boyfriend and can proudly say I survived! Hahaha yeah no doubt I do miss spending times with him but I think it's a good way for me to learn to be independent. Had some me-time too. Sadly there was too much assignments on hand that I didn't get a chance to really do the things I love. Partly due to my poor time management too, but whatever. Plus I save so much more money as compared to last time!

All these doesn't matter now cause tmr I'm gonna meet the beloved BFF and bf! Can't wait! Assignments, please do not get into my way till next week! xx

"Change in the only constant."

As much as I hate changes, i find myself changing inevitably. Some for the good (hopefully), and some... I just hope they would not occur. One change is my prespective/viewpoint/mindset/principles on r/s. I just hope they will not be swayed any further. I hate these current ones, really. So brain; mind and heart, please be more rational and sensible!

On a side note, whoa look, it's already November! Can't wait for another new exciting and challenging year yet at the same time spend the last two months of 2011 fruitfully. Whoever says 2012 is dooms day, stfu; cause I've yet to enjoy my life to my heart's content.

Blogging from my phone for the first time. Just downloaded this blogger app so I'm gonna try it out! Went for my school bash at butter factory yesterday. Was nice watching all the contestants for the pageant performing but I've to admit the party after that was way better! Or rather my classmates are awesome clubbers. Endless fun and laughters and dance. I like the fact that although we may not be very close in class cause there's like 50 of us and it's difficult to mix and hang out with every single one, we are still able to bond well, chill and have fun tgt, and not feel the slightest bit of awkwardness...

ONE THOUSAND days has one by since the very first day where we got together after our midnight movie marathon.. Though the whole journey from then to now hasnt been a smooth ride through.. its all the little obstacles along the way that pulled us together even closer and brought us to where we are today.. Im very glad to be able to share our lives together.. supporting each other along the way and walking this life journey hand in hand.. This one thousand milestone is just the beginning.. it's halfway through the school term. so far so good. timetable is good this time round but i cant say the same for the next term. coping SORT OF well with class, work, french, and driving. though there are still times i resent myself for plotting my working days in between my school days, thus having to rush through the assignments right after school ends. good and bad i would say. in a way i finished all my assignments but i feel so worn out. i needa breathe too. oh well.

then people starts to question why am i so dumb to do this. reasons being times are bad now and the working chances for casuals are so so limited. i need to fight and secure any possible working slots available. yes kiasu as it may sound but this is how it works. i need the cash and i need the working hours as part of my academic requirement. it's difficult to leave my current job and look for a new one because 1) i cant bear to 2) the team members there are really nice 3) it's not easy to find something simiar to this or related to tourism 4) i hate to adapt to new environment and acting all goody to mix with new people.

i guess all i can do is to rant; take things as they are, step by step; and then move on. yes this is what i'm gonna do, so hello to work tomorrow!

I like the feeling that even though i havent met someone for like ages, but still manage to click very well and talk/bitch/gossip about anything and everything under the sun when we finally meet again after a long time, just like how it was like before. Reminiscing the past together and laughed back at those times. Those familarity and close bonds we share. No awkwardness at all. And then cant bear to part at the end because we dont know when will be the next time we can hang out again, due to everyone's different and busy schedules.

here's an update on what has been/is going on in my life. seems to have something to do everyday and am in serious sleep debt. i truly need a rest day. a day where i have nothing to do and just stay home and laze around, listen to songs, read a book and not think of a single thing or worry.

school's gonna start soon and to be honest, im kinda looking forward to it. havent been in touch with books and revisions and studies for a long long while. but the costs to go to a uni is realy... like a bomb. it bombs practically all ur savings empty, if u're as broke as me that is. neverheless, hope this two years in uni will be a breeze and i can get my degree at the end; no doubt ir wil be along with lots of rants and complaints and joy and laughters.

went for SIT Orientation Camp last week and met lots of friendly n awesome ppl there. no regrets going for this camp.

had a meet up with Farmont colleagues sometime ago. gosh how i miss them so very much, especially the girls and the super hiarious French guy.

they are one of the many reasons why i can get by each day at work after being yelled at by guests.

and those times i spent with del's friends. at the airport and clubing!!!

Eden Sanctuary Floral Cafe at ChinaSquare is gonna be my new fave eating place, just cause of their tomato basil tartlets. seriously way too awesome and nice and delicious that i can crave for it every moment!

the tomato basil tartlets that are to-die-for!

ordered some other chef's reccomndations (some 16herbs/spice chicken and peanutbutter fish) but nothing can beat the tartlets, i swear.

had some tea that helps ur brain or something. and they have a list of a thousand teas that have different cause. ordered the chilled fruit tea the second time we went. (Y)

as im typing this now, i crave for those tartlets again and always!

hello readers. it has been a long long time. i know. im feeling a lil bit of lazy here and there. that explains the lack of updates. but dont worry. will be back to blogging soon because there are pictures for me to blogged about. just had my poly grad last monday, and i've got to say im experiencing mixed feelings.

happy cause i've survived these 3 years with numerous projects, tutorials and not to mention those annoying tests/exams.
happy cause im finally a diploma holder.
happy cause i made many awesome friends and coursemates there.
happy cause i'm really glad for the internship given as i really learnt and gain valuable experiences.
happy cause i went overseas so many times during my poly years, be it with the school or just with friends.
happy cause there are more than these.
yet sad cause happy stuffs dont last...

i wonder what will the future holds for me; and for everyone else.

that one night when i finally get to stay in one of the six hotels in RWS - Festive Hotel. all thanks to maykha who book the room and allow all of us to get high and enjoyed that one night together!

festive hotel, specially cater to families.

theres like 3 beds inside the room. very useful esp if someone vomitted on the bed due to overly high consumption of alcohol. hahaha

and theres mirrors everywhere, perfect for camwhoring as a group!

just cant get enough, of our faces.

went to kukup island in msia for two days during this long weekends. thanks to del and his family for inviting me along. this was my first time living in a fishing village and experiencing the worries-free and peaceful life.

and the house that we lived in wasnt what i expected it to be. its so much better! not some dirty old house with no air-con but alot of mozzies or something.

everything is like newly renovated!

had our lunch, explored around the area there and then went to vsit a fish farm which i think its the best part of this trip! thats cause i get to hold the starfish, sea urchin and a mini shark!
took a boat over there.

SO FUN!

after that we had bbq buffet for dinner followed by playing of fireworks and firecrackers. it feels so awesome to be directly under the fireworks, which is set by yourself!

so upclose above ur head, just like fireworks raining on u!

thats all. back to work tmr. and thanks to my bf that i get to experience so many things in life.

so my 6 months of itp has ended. what's next? i've no idea myself. will take a break for this week, start working back at USS next week, and then prepare for the taiwan trip! in the meantime, i'll start thinking and planning what to do after im back from taiwan. it's so scary because its my future im talking about. anyway, i understand that the applications for nus/ntu had closed. any idea when is the next intake?? sighhh

oh well. nevertheless, im definitely going to miss Fairmont, especially the colleagues there. most of them are really awesome. i really love working with them because almost 99% are foreigners. philippines, france, england, korea, shanghai, malaysia. and i love to mix around with them! as much as i always complained and rant and grumbled about working at the front office, im still gratful for this opportunity. in a way, Fairmont is really a good training ground. tell me where can i find a hotel that is always so understaff, overbooked and yet can deliver good service, huh?

and one thing about Fairmont is that whenever there is any special occassions, we get to dress up! so over the 6 months there, i've changed several uniform and outfits.

work later in the noon but im up early. just cant get back to sleep even though i very much want to. been tossing and turning and waking up in the middle of the night randomly. hope i dont die later, afterall its already the last day.

i seldom, or never (i cant remember), blog about these but i always wonder how does r/s works? should it be the longer you are together, the less u will bother or care about the other partner because you're so familiarise with her/his everythings and used to it that u dont give a damn because in the end u know nothing will goes wrong. or should it be the longer you are together, the more u'll care about ur partner because he/she has become part of you and even if the most minor thing goes amiss, u feel like its a frigging major thing.

my heart is for the latter but my mind is for the former, and i cant seem to coordinate them well. to me, the latter shows that im a very clingy gf (yucks, i dont wanna be one) and the former shows that i have a I DONT CARE attitude. and the worst thing is when my bf seems to have opposite thoughts as me.

so sometimes when del dozed off or something else and didnt text me before i sleep which i fucking hate, i wish both my mind and heart would say in unison to not give a damn because its not a big deal. he's just lying on his bed sleeping and nothing will be wrong. thats all. and i should go to sleep as well, instead of always having wild thoughts. -.-

and dont get me wrong. del still treats me well, better than i do to him. and i admit he's usually the one giving and im the one taking. i know this isnt the way and im still working hard on this but stil... not everything is perfect and being the not-easily-contented me, i just love to bring up all his bad points instead of the good ones. time to time when im so mad at him, i'll think of the times/things he did for me. like coming down straight away late at night just to fetch me from work just cause i called him and say that i missed my last train, even though he had to wake up earlier than me the next morning. i'll constantly remind myself of all those he had done for me, and hopefully all the mad and evil thoughts will disappear. on the surface, yes it disappeared. but deep down, i'll still resent him for doing all the stuffs that made me mad. is this the right thing/way?

maybe i need to reflect on myself. maybe i need a break. maybe i need to fall back to sleep. ):

missing from the blogging world because im always so frigging tired everyday after work ever since i moved back to the front desk. and i swear its hell every sigle day. no rooms. no staff. no motivation. blah blah blah. i just need to grit my teeth and clench my teeth for another 8 working days, and i'll be done and over with! i honestly cannot wait!

hello people! im still alive and surviving even though i havent been blogging! and guess what? its already nearing week 18. which means ITP is nearin its end, SOON! i really cant wait. and i got to admit, i miss the front desk. not that being a butler at the executive club lounge is bad, but i just prefer the front desk more. due to many many reasons. one of which is cause a butler's duties is so so monotonous! i get bored easily, lest say doing the same routines for already close to 2 months! i may be requesting to go down to the desk during the last few weeks, and that's if they allow. on the other note, look at this!

i've gotten an A for my overall grading of ITP even before it ends! really got to thank my front office manager. its a pity he is leaving. and this is also why i had my itp graded so early. he's a really nice guy, not only cause he gave me an A (heeeee), but the examples that he gave as a manager and how he leads.
and yes, of course i wont slack for the remaining weeks just cause i've already gotten a grade, so no worries! i'll still be that hardworking poor little intern. HAHAHA

and chinese new year is coming! i really cant wait. really hope my request will be approved. i REALLY REALLY wanna go to my granny's house back in maaysia to eat reunion dinner. i've already missed it last year because of working in USS. and i love how i can shop for new stuffs for chinese new year! pay day come quick~

as much as i love 5am shift becase i can do my own things after work, this is really screwing my body up! my meals are all in a mess. im like snacking constantly and eating full meals at the wrong time! mygawd. i dont wanna put on weight. really.need.to.have.some.self.control.

2 days had passed since my 20th birthday. it feels the same as being 19 still, though im already in the twenties. oh well. its just numbers, right? thanks to those who wished me/gave me present/celebrated with me. appreciated all your thoughts and gestures, sincerely from the bottom of my heart.

hooked onto reading this book. not regretting buying it. idky but i love reading storybooks that depict sad life stories. same goes to songs as well. i love lyrics that are sad. i guess sad songs convey the meaning/message well. and no. its not because im a sadist. its just that reading these books or listening to these songs make me think of my own life. and how would i react if im the one facing such shit in life. imagine having a child with autism or brittle bones whereby she cant do any sports and is always in a cast. or having to know that ur partner is cheating on u. to be honest, i dont think i can accept it. and i feel disgusted with myself. oh well. is this what they caled thinking too much? but anyway i really cant wait to finish reading this book. and buy more! not forgetting more shoppings as well! hehehee

yes, another post on my off day. gueesed i'll only blogged duing my off days because on days when im working, life is so mundane. everything is like a routine. and u probably hear/see alot of ranting tweets from me. oh well. cant believe only close to 2 months of itp had pass. 1 month and 3 weeks to be exact. -.- nevertheless, i think its a good training ground for me. so yup. i'll still rant but i'll continue to work hard too!

today was my off day. and i must say it pass so fast! however stil woke up early in the morning because i got another job which offered damn good deal thanks to del again.. which is to invigilate piano theory exam. and its really a simple job, well at least for me =x heeheee..and we spent all our money on lunch afterwards

gonna do a quick post, hopefully in 15mins so i can head to bed at 2. shant rant bout work in this post lest it gets boring or whatsoever. so im going to post about the halloween horrors at night safari that we went last fri i think? del managed to get a good deal online and yupp. it was my first trip to night safari too! and visitors can forget bout taking any pics of the animals there because no flash is allowed.. so basically every photo of animals that i took turned out black -.- nevertheless it was really an interesting experience, especially since nnow theres this halloween event going on.

can someone remind me that i need to get a life?
its not that my current attachment workplace is bad, not that its good either. but somehow i really wonder what will become of me next time when i truly step into the workng society. i dread long hours/working on weekends&PHs/one offday etc. but i need to bring in income to lead a life that i want right? really aint those type who can commit to working full time, but can just working part time be enough to provide for my family and i? urgh i want a carefree life where i can just lay on the grass and stare at the blue sky and clouds! and have picnic!!! oh well...

everyday's been a routine to me. except for today where i helped out at a wedding banquet. wedding banquets never fails to make my heart melts. its always so heartwarming when they played videos of the newlyweds. and then they made their way into the ballroom together with the bridesmaid/cut the wedding cake/pour champagne. it made me think of my own wedding in the future!!! and i'll start imagining and stuffs. HAHHAAHA. and wait, is this the season for weddings? cause im helping out again at banquet on sat. i heard there are like 6 weddings for that day. and coincidentally, my cousin is having her wedding on that day as well. so instead of attending her wedding, i'll be helping out at others instead -.-how ironic huh.

its oct already, and my last post was sept 25th. i know i havent been blogging. itp had started for about a week. so far till now was the honeymoon period cause all i had was orientation and classroom training of OPERA, though its still hell.. but i've really learnt alot during my training, like the standard check in and out process. and the colleagues that i interacted (so far) with were fine and friendly, though i heard that there were some not so nice. oh well... guess this is the working world and everyone got to face it huh. and its so tiring working, seriously... i realised im not cut out for working full time.. its so hard to commit. i prefer last time at USS when i was just a casual. hmmm. anw thats why i havent been blogging.. i either spend the time sleeping if not working, and when i reached home i spent all the time at fb and bloghopping till my sleeping time. its a must to sleep before 12mn everyday! esp starting today because my shift starts at 7 tmr for this week! okok much rants, i know.

anyway, met up with del time to time since we were working in the same area.. and we went helix bridge and mbs ytd.

thur and wed was del's off days and im happy that he decided to spend them with me. so on thur we decided to go out of singapore into JB for a one day shopping trip, but there wasnt much to buy. instead we spent most of the money eating. too bad i didnt get to eat my greentea ice cream! craving for it NOW! but we had seoul garden for lunch. yes i know, its not like we cant find seoul garden in sg right. but its cheaper there and we were hungry for a buffet so yea...

on sunday, del and i decided to bake cheesecake at my house. so we got all the necessary ingredients but not all the necessary equipment. but its okay cause theres always another alternatives.

and so, we grind the oreo biscuits so to make it the base

and mix the four/eggs/cream cheese etc

and compressed the powdery oreo to make it flat as a base...

THERE WAS NO CHEESECAKE! just because my oven broke down halfway

went snow city with del arron and liwen on sunday after my interview at fairmont. the manager is damn awesone and cool and friendly and (insert positive descriptions)! i hope all managers are like him!

so yupp went snowcity because there is a promo. basically there is nothing much there, except the snow tubing. the only activity sia! cant even camwhore inside cause its not allowed. zzzzzzz so its really not as fun place as thought. but with the right company, we can create our own fun huhh.

ytd was the last day of school. well, sort of. no more official lectures/tutorials. was real fast how time pass. i actually studied in SP for about 2.5 years already!! i can still vividly remembered my first day in poly. strangers to classmates to friends. hope we will all be meeting up often because DTRM01 are the ones who made my poly life so happening. all the overseas trips; activities organised by some; movies; clubbing; games; spgg; class outings; meals and many more! end of poly doesnt mean the end of our memories huh.

and so. on the last day of school, of course there got to be some outing after school huhh. amazing how we played games before school, during school and after school!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BFF! specially dedicated this blog post to you. posting near the end of your bday to show that im always here with you till the end (sounds so cheesy!) ;p and as i looked back at the photos from the past, it brought back damn lots of memories. a pity we arent doing those stuffs as often now compared to the past. although life has changed for both of us - entering into different courses; me going into a r/s; and both us were busy with school/work etc. we seldom have the time to meet as much as we did in the past, but just wanna let you know that ur status as my bff has never changed! glad to have known u since sec one back in HYSS.

though i always give the disgusted face and jokingly commented that it's an insult to me, i like it when people say how alike we looked cause it made us feel close!

blogging on a sunday noon, one thing which i havent done ever since i started workng. shant take weekends for granted now! here are some uploads of pictures from my camera.

went to eat ramen at vivo with del some time back on the 3rd,after my work. hmmmm that was a week before!

this is probably the first time im not going to complain about working during the weekends, cause i took off!!! im so happy. i feel so burden-less. is there a word to describe this? ohhh well. no work no work no work! shall continue my bkk trip and finish it asap. it is dragging way too long. since we had some time afte breakfast, i went around with del to look for places to do manicure/pedicure.

went shopping again and had this sstrawberry ice monster. effing nice (Y)

after shopping, went to chinatown to buy porkfloss.

and we saw the famous four-faced buddha.

at night we visited the famous night bazzar - suanlum night market (?)

opened till midnight. but it wasnt as nice/good to shop as pratunam market/mall and platinum mall.

and i tried fishspa there. for the first time!

but it was torturing much for me! man it was freaky ticklish i swear.

seeeeeee, its ticklish for liwen as well!

managed to cool down after awhile but i still preferred to keep my feet above the water surface.

went back to the hotel and packed our stuffs cause we are leaving the next day.

and ohhh yea finally got the chance to use these towels together. but lousy quality! urghhh

the next day we woke up late and had brunch at this roadside stall. love the chilli flakes there!

had last miniute shopping at platinum mall again. im not getting sick of it@ theres so many things to shop over there.

tried the ice monster again. this time kiwi flavoured. awesome. craving for it now.

wanna thanks my beloved ahhh del for making this trip successful, cause he was the one who planned and coordianted everything, ever since feb. while i just sat there and relaxed. as well as thanks for taking extra good care and looking out for me constantly over there, fearing that something will happen to me in a foreign country. thanks to liwen&aaron too because they made good travelling companions!

gonna continue on day 2 of bkk trip. blogging during GBE tutorial, oppps! can never pay attention or listen for this module, be it lecture or tutorial, double opps!

so off we went to the next temple . . .

this is for goodluck, by dropping coins into every bowl(?) which is a long stretch.

basically the floor and pillars are made of marble.

and yeaaa after these temples tour, the tour guide brought us to some high-end shops to look around and stuffs. after which we went back to the hotel and its back to shopping, at siam square/paragon after a short rest. ^^V
tried the tuktuk for the very first time and all of us got addicted to taking this cheap and fast and thrilling transportation.

the only downside is you'll be exposed to all the air pollution which is very serious and bad there!

had the recommended chicken rice for dinner which is opposite pratunam market. after which we were got in the rain. took a tuktuk back to hotel in the rain and it felt as though we were taking a waterboat cause theres a flood in the area. still as fun as ever!

gonna do a quick post on my bkk trip with del and his friends - liwen&aaron, before it gets forgotten; and before i get back to my projects research; and before i get ready for sleep for tmr's full shift of work, yet again. im dreading work AGAIN. and i've decided to take off for next week, knowing that theres many projects deadlines to meet. gonna use the time and focus on school stuffs.

at changi airport as early as 530am. never will we thought that our flight will delay, for freaking 3h! so we basically slacked and roamed and walked aimlessly around the airport.

had breakfast. afterwhich we waited for NTUC to open so we can shop to past time. we even played games inside NTUC. yes we were that bored. and i stupidly put the monopolydeal cards in the luggage which was already checked in earlier. how dumb huh.

finally on board the plane. i always hate the taking off and landing part. it gives me the feeling that im taking rollercoaster rides, which i dont like!

and we reached bkk. checked into ecotel. although its a budget hotel, the service was excellent and its not those run-down type. comfortable clean and cool.

went around exploring the area after checking in. and all of us were addicted to this stall selling kway chup.

had dinner at this plc which was delicious too. went back there again too.

afterwhich was shopping all the way till night time. and no photos taken cause we were all shopping eagerly. EVERYTHING SEEMS SO CHEAP THERE! okay maybe not. BUT MOST OF THE THINGS are freaking cheap! shopped till shiok shiok ;p
and thats all the pictures for the first day.

gonna blog the pictures from bintan starting with day1 first because theres too many pictures/im lazy to sort them out/im sleepy/projects are piling up/i've got research to do etc. bintan was totally enjoyable with friends, though i got my period on the first day. how lucky was that? -.- nevertheless the company the sun the sand the sea the resort was greatttttttt. a short getaway from the projs, work and stuffs to relax and have fun. thanks yw for organising.

on the ferry, which was way better and nicer than the one i took to batam.

went to some dinner organised by my dialect association with my daddy and sister. and i realised, as my great-granny passed away, lesser and lesser people are attending these kinda events. she was the one who made every gatherings so crowded and stuff. oh well, nevertheless i had fun hanging out with my cousins. and they were the ones whom i grew up with!

first week of school is over and its the weekends. now im dreading both weekdays and weekends. school on weekdays. work on weekends. not that i hate my work at uss, i just think that waking up at 6 in the morning on weekends is a chore. but ohwell, i need income in order to enjoy life so i just gotta bear with it huh. and school's pretty much the same and fine, for now.
